How To Build A List Starting In The Next 24 HoursThe money is in the list!!!If you've been online for sometime, you would have heard the above statement. It's all true. The importance of having your own list is crucial to your online success. But while all the gurus are building massive lists day in day out, you are left in the cold. Now is the time for you to build your own massive, responsive opt in list starting by this time tomorrow. Here is my five step formula 1. Determine a niche You have to determine the market you want to build a list from. To do this you have to ask yourself what your interests, what you know about and what you can share with people. It could be about football, credit cards, gsm softwares, acne, affiliate marketing etc. When you choose a niche, you can move to the next step. 2. Create a squeeze page A squeeze page is a web page set up primarily to collect the names and email addresses of your visitors. You must have seen them all over the internet. I used this method to build 70% of my list. See an example at averagejoeaffiliate.com Put a strong headline on your squeeze page. The success of your squeeze page will depend on how strong your headline is. After your headline, place about 3 to 5 benefits of your offer in a bulleted list. Then place your opt in box provided by your autoresponder. 3. Create follow up messages When I say follow up messages, I'm referring to messages that arrive into your inbox after you trigger an autoresponder sequence. When you put down your details on a web page and an instant response arrives, you'll notice it doesn't stop there. The messages keep coming over and over again. It's very easy to do. That is the job of your autoresponder. When you sign up for an autoresponder account, you'll be able to configure your messages in them. You can configure as many messages as you want. One, two, five, fifty, seven hundred and fifty or what have you. The contents of your messages will be what you offered on your squeeze page. 4. Open a google adword account This is a pay per click advertising solution powered by google. When you do a search on google, you'll notice that there are usually two sets of results. The natural organic search results on the left and the small texts coloured blue on the right. Those ones on the right are placed there by advertisers. They set up their campaign in such a way that it's when a searcher searches for a particular keyword that their ads should come up. It's a very potent way of getting traffic to your site in no time. Go to google.com/ads to register. 5. Open A Co-Registration Account Co-registration involves having your subscription offer listed alongside other publications' offers, so that when someone signs up to the other newsletters, he or she is given the option of signing up for yours as well without needing to re-enter his or her personal information. 25% of my list was build using co-registration services. You however have to avoid co-registration services that don't work with your autoresponders or don't allow you to create your own ads. |
